Just wanted to say thank my amazing brides who have given such great feedback along the way! I’ve said it before, but I am so blessed by my clients.
See what these brides had to say here!
We’ve got new baby announcements rolling out! Here’s a preview of one of the designs. These designs can also be changed up a bit to become Christmas Cards, Save the Date Cards, or anything else! Stay tuned for more designs!
I just wanted to say CONGRATS to Adam and Joanna, whose beautiful wedding was featured on The Wedding Lady blog!
Felicia and Adrian are one of the sweetest couples ever. They are so amazingly happy together. It’s awesome. Their wedding was full of sweet moments, but the thing I remember most is the way they would look at each other every time they saw each other. When she walked down the aisle the smile on Adrian’s face was amazing and touching. And then each time he saw her after that, there was that same smile. It’s amazing to see a love like that.
Thank you guys so much for allowing me to capture this amazing day for you!
Here is a shot Teresa (my amazing 2nd shooter!) got that perfectly captured that smile and that sweetness they share.
Thanks to the awesome folks who helped make this amazing wedding possible!

I love summer time and the feelings of freedom and opportunity that come with it. I always start the summer with big plans — places to go, things to do — but the fact is that sometimes it’s the little stuff that is the most fun, you know?
Tonight, the kids played dress up and I invited them to my “restaurant” for a fancy dessert. My gourmet dessert was nothing more than a pack of sugar free pudding mix with Cool Whip and chocolate syrup, but they didn’t notice or even seem to care. We laughed and talked with funny accents and had a blast. Sometimes it’s the simple things that are appreciated the most.
Hope you’re enjoying your summer!
I hopped in my car and drove through the suburbs, onto the highway, through the heart of the city, fighting traffic here and there. But as I continued to drive, the traffic began to thin and the buildings started to disappear. All I saw were wide open spaces, and I passed through a small town here and there. As I pulled up to the small country church in Quihi and walked into the “fellowship hall” I felt at home. This small town and this tiny church coupled with the warm, joyful people I met there, made me feel at home. I had been looking forward to Adam & Joanna’s wedding for a long time because I felt connected to them in so many ways. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their wedding day, which was filled with such joy, laughter, rustic elegance, and charm. You could feel the love between these high school sweethearts and the excitement they each felt that this day had finally come. Adam and Joanna, I can’t possibly thank you enough for bringing me into your life and allowing me to capture your timeless memories. I wish you all the best!

I’m so excited that I finally am able to start posting some of my recent bridals! 🙂 Here’s the beautiful Jackie!
David was calm and cool as he and the guys got ready for the big day. They laughed and talked and helped each other with cuff links. No jitters here. David was certain that Jackie was everything he had ever wanted. He had known that since high school. While he was getting ready, someone walked in and placed something in his hand. “This is from Jackie,” she said. He opened his hand to reveal a grape soda cap and he just smiled as he pinned it on his lapel. I didn’t grasp the pin’s signifigance until a week or so later when I went to see Pixar’s Up, in which Ellie gives Carl a grape soda pin and says [something to the effect of], “We’re a club now, you and me.” And I thought that brilliantly captured the essence of marriage.
David and Jackie, congratulations on your marriage and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your journey! I can’t wait to see all that is in store for the two of you!
David sees Jackie for the first time…
It was so hot outside that day that we had to come up with a Plan B for portraits. Texas heat is ridiculous! 🙂
Last week I walked out to my mailbox to find the newest edition of San Antonio Weddings Magazine. I was giddy with excitement (because there are truly few things in the world I enjoy more than sitting down with a good magazine). I ran inside and plopped myself down on the couch and began flipping through it, reading articles here and there, when all of the sudden — I saw my name!!! Whaaaat?!
Thank you so much to the awesome folks at San Antonio Weddings for including me in such an amazing publication! I’m honored!
